From ancient times to modern day, many people seeking fellowship with their heaveanly Father through prayer have used a string of knots, pebbles, or beads on a cord to keep track of prayers they offered.

The use of prayer beads gently enables us to think about our prayers and consider the fact that we are in God’s presence. Touching our fingers on each successive bead acts as an aid to keep our mind from wandering while the rhythm of the prayers leads us more readily into stillness of soul and communion with our heavenly Father.

The A.C.T.S. Prayer Band is handmade of hemp with a sterling silver cross bead, wooden invitatory and cruciform beads, and plastic weeks beads.
